1. "Blue Echeveria" Succulent
Blue echiveria succulents (Echeveria glauca) are both captivating to look at, and incredibly easy to maintain. These stunning succulents originated from the desert, so they don’t need a lot of attention. For best results, place somewhere with a lot of sunlight and water infrequently. As an extra bonus, they are safe to have around cats and dogs. Your curious pet won’t be harmed even if they take a small nibble.
Pothos plants (Epipremnum aureum) are one of the easiest plant to start with for beginners. With trailing leaves, this plant will gently hang down from hanging planters, climb up planter trellises, and will cascade across surfaces. This versatile plant can thrive in both high and low light environments.
Let the top few inches of soil dry out before watering to maintain adequate watering levels and prevent against root rot.
3. Areca Palm
Bring home beach vibes and some extra height with an Areca Palm (Dypsis lutescens). These palms are able to grow up to 6 or 7 feet in height! Despite neglect, this low maintenance apartment plant can thrive and will grow anywhere from 6 inches to 48 inches tall! Place in indirect light and keep its soil moderately dry for best results.
